Letter: Votes against relief

While Sen. Lisa Murkowski devoted most of her recent op-ed (ADN, March 14) justifying her vote against the American Relief Program, the irony is that the important part of it is the paragraph where she describes what benefits will inure to Alaskans, and those are not insignificant. It is clear she chose to vote with her party rather thatn for her constituents. I assume the same is true of Sen. Dan Sullivan and Rep. Don Young. So Sen. Murkowski has not changed after all.
