Letter: Airline virus solution

I think I have the solution for Alaska Airlines and its problem with Sen. Lora Reinbold regarding masks. If an Alaska Airlines employee feels anyone isn’t masked up properly, simply offer the offender a bag of pretzels and a bottle of water, just like they routinely do on their airplanes. Somehow, the mask experts have scientifically determined the virus becomes non-threatening during periods of eating and drinking.
