I agree with President Biden’s recent comment that America needs a legitimate two-party political system — not one party working for the good of America and the other working for the good of themselves.For most of my adult life, I voted Republican. Today’s Trumpist Republicans are completely unrecognizable from what the Grand Old Party — GOP — was only a decade ago. I’m not surprised that some countries are now worried that America is becoming an existential threat to democracy.
