Here we go again. The anti-science, pro-shouting crowd that has menaced Anchorage for the past year plans to bring a recall petition against Assemblywoman Meg Zaletel. Like their same unsuccessful petition against Felix Rivera, this effort is deeply cynical. These people are very unhappy that our elected leaders made difficult decisions to protect Anchorage citizens during a pandemic, and they are determined to waste government money on another special election. She’s up for regular reelection in April, folks. Once again: Reject the recall petition.
