Ex-President George W. Bush is sad that we’re abandoning Afghanistan and the translators etc., who helped our forces there, as well as the women and children and religious minorities and others whose freedoms depended on our presence. So am I.

Perhaps if Bush hadn’t rushed us into a needless war in Iraq, we might have done a better job in Afghanistan, and been more willing to stay for the long haul.
