Letter: Provide shelter

Considering your recent story, I hope that those involved with repurposing the Sullivan Arena as a homeless shelter will continue to do all they can to house the homeless and to not rush to return the arena back to its original use.

Jesus’ golden rule again asks us to treat others as we would want to be treated. If any of us were homeless — or have been homeless — we would desire place to stay. The shelter that most of us take for granted, many do not have. Yet we can help them.
