Letter: Vaccine incentives

Money buys love, and it’s obvious here. Why offer a monetary incentive to take a COVID-19 vaccine? Life should be the ultimate incentive.

Those who took the vaccine made their choice, and wise one at that, by protecting themselves and others. In fact, those vaccinated are showing they do not need extensive medical help.

And to those who have not taken the vaccine: Now someone must pay them to take the vaccine as our hospitals are full, medical personnel are exhausted, and the rest of us suffer from the unvaccinated people’s selfishness and their gross ignorance.

Step up, Alaska.
