Letter: Putin will be vanquished

Russian President Vladimir Putin is a relic of the 20th century, part of a long succession of unhinged thugs like Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Slobodan Miloševic, Idi Amin, Bashar El-Assad and others who have committed unspeakable atrocities against humanity. The horrific warfare Putin has unleashed upon innocent Ukrainian people constitutes one of the worst war crimes in history.

At some point the world’s nations will summon the courage to rally against this the vile dictator in a way he understands: force. Ultimately, Putin will take his place in history’s gallery of vanquished despots.
