Letter: Don’t limit your choices

Well, they’re at it again. For the second week in a row, I have received oversized post cards from the Alaska Republican Party. They were not wishing me a happy birthday. They are interfering with and trying to manipulate the voting process by advocating to not fully participate in ranked-choice voting.

Ranked-choice voting is an opportunity for voters to have a fuller say, a louder voice in choosing a variety of candidates. It is an effort to make the voting process and outcome more clearly reflect the peoples’ will. Clearly, the Republicans want a process that only reflects their agenda, which includes limiting voting rights.
