Letters to the Editor

Letter: What’s going on?

I may be out of state at the moment, but the flood of dysfunction in the Anchorage mayor’s office is overwhelming no matter where you’re at. No vetting of department head appointees? A carousel of resignations under duress? Dodged responsibility for directed treatment protocols of water — really, water? Skirting municipal codes with questionable contract awards? Conflicts of interest and deferred legal pursuits? Surveillance of employees using the ombudsman? Fumbling of bond initiatives?

Stop the damage and return the municipality to honorable governance with a honorable mayor.
