Regardless of whether you agree with Chief Justice John Roberts’ ultimate point, his sentences are clear. Contrast his legal writing with School Board member Dave Donley’s June 1 commentary on Inlet View school bonds.
I suspect Roberts would send Donley back to grammar school for a class on diagramming sentences.
Clearly, Donley didn’t pay attention to the teacher the first time.
