Letter: Enforcing responsibility

The easiest way to pass legislation to reinstitute a mother’s right to make decisions about her pregnancy would be to enforce joint financial responsibility for a child under age 18. Males would then have “skin in the game” and would overwhelmingly support a woman’s right to choose to avoid financial, if not moral, support of the child.

Men writing the laws would assign accountability to a male population who will not accept their responsibility. Legislation would pass in a landslide!
