The Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race kicked off with Saturday’s ceremonial start in Anchorage.

In this video, you’ll hear from a range of mushers, from 79-year-old veteran racer Jim Lanier to Iditarod rookie Sean Underwood, who’s racing in four-time champion Jeff King’s place.
