Protesters gather in Anchorage on eve of Trump impeachment vote

A crowd of 150 to 200 people gathered outside the Federal Building in downtown Anchorage Tuesday afternoon to encourage Alaska’s congressional delegation to vote to impeach President Trump.

In coordination with two national volunteer groups, Move On and Indivisible, rallies were held across the nation on the eve of the House of Representatives vote. Co-organizer Izzy Farris said “We’re very concerned about the future of democracy as it stands now. We want them to listen to the facts and not vote by party line.”
