This is a big election year in Alaska, with a U.S. Senate seat, a U.S. House seat and most of the Alaska Legislature up for election. (Along with a presidential election and multiple state ballot measures.)

As we prepare to cover the primary and general election campaigns, we want your help. What issues do you think candidates should be focused on? What specific questions would be useful to press candidates on to give you the information you need when deciding between candidates?

We want to give candidates the chance to tell voters where they stand — and we want to give voters the opportunity to know where they stand. We’re planning detailed issue surveys of all candidates in the August primary and the November general elections.

Here’s a list of candidates currently running in the Aug. 18 primary election and the Nov. 3 general election. Register to vote here. Apply for an absentee ballot here.

To help with our issues surveys and to tell us what issues are important, please fill out the form below. Thanks.
