At 7 p.m. Thursday, Gov. Mike Dunleavy will deliver his third State of the State address to Alaskans, speaking about the future of the Permanent Fund dividend and Alaska’s energy independence among other topics, according to the governor’s office.
“We’re going to talk about Alaska’s opportunities, our ability to be independent and self-reliant, and our future as a sovereign within the federal system of the United States,” Dunleavy said in a brief video message ahead of Thursday night’s speech.
