Halle Berry says she's related to Alaska's Sarah Palin (VIDEO)

Halle Berry claims she's related to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. During an interview with Jerry Penacoli of TV's "Extra" in which Penacoli was talking with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry about their upcoming film together "Cloud Atlas," the Hollywood starlet announced her relation to Alaska's former governor Sarah Palin. Berry followed up the admission by covering her face, dipping her upper body to her knees and emitting a long, but amused, "nooo!"

The confession came after Penacoli asked Hanks about his relation to Abraham Lincoln (it has been suggested that Hanks is a distant relative of Nancy Hanks, Abe Lincoln's mother). That's when Berry chimes in saying, "you want to know who I'm related to?" Unfortunately, she is cut off by Hanks before she's able to explain. Berry makes it as far as, "somebody sent me this information that she was my distant...." before the subject is swept away by Hank's philosophical insights.

Sarah Palin has created a bit of a ripple in the media pool this October. After being caught red-handed reading the National Enquirer, last week Palin announced her intent to write a fitness book. Following that, she scolded The Associated Press for publishing an unflattering photo of presidential candidate Mitt Romney. And now this. Is Sarah gearing up to make a come-back?
