Pro-Palin movie to expand: Pay-per-view, DVD, more theaters

According to a joint press release from Victory Films and ARC Entertainment (via PR Newswire or Fox News), the pro-Palin movie "The Undefeated" will have a greater reach as the summer winds down. The release says the film will continue its limited theatrical release around the country through August and September, and the filmmaker announced on its Facebook page Monday new showings scheduled to open July 29 in Charleston, S.C., Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, and Salt Lake City, Utah. Starting Sept. 1, a multi-million-dollar ad campaign will accompany the film's debut on cable and satellite pay-per-view and on-demand channels. On Oct. 4, the film will launch on DVD, with a first shipment of approximately 250,000 units, a portion of which will be "Special Edition" DVDs available only through Walmart featuring "additional new content."
