Who is the Donald, one of the many current or former 2012 Republican presidential candidates, going to support? The jury's still out on Donald Trump's endorsement and how much it will benefit any future candidate or nominee. But according to Politico, Trump is waiting to find out if Sarah Palin is going to enter the field.
Politico's "Morning Score" newsletter Thursday indicated that Trump was considering his options after a personal meeting this week with Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who the celebrity real estate mogul called "a straight shooter with an impressive story to tell."
But Politico notes that until Palin announced whether she'll run, the Donald might not be endorsing anyone.
"(Trump) is a big Palin fan," reporter James Hohmann noted.
No word on whether the recent, salacious gossip in the latest Sarah Palin book will impact Trump's opinion.
