Syndicate Fish Wars

Alaska commercial fishermen have benefited substantially from recent federal and international regulations governing the state's halibut fishery, often at the expense of smaller charter-boat and sports fishermen. Questions of fairness and sustainability have been ignored by regulators up the political food chain who appear sympathetic to Big Seafood and Outside business interests.
