Win at bingo and become a drag queen during this Anchorage PrideFest event

Drag Queen Bingo, part of Anchorage PrideFest, was held at Williwaw in downtown Anchorage on Thursday, June 22, 2017. The event is a fundraiser for Identity Alaska, a nonprofit LGBT advocacy group. Bingo winners have the chance to be made up as a drag queen and compete to collect the most dollar bills from the rest of the audience.

Bob Hallinen has been a photojournalist in Alaska since the 1980s and has traveled extensively all over the state. He retired from the ADN in November 2018 after 33 years at the newspaper.
