Racing dogs leap into winter training on the Beach Lake Trails

Sprint sled dogs and Iditarod dogs shared the Beach Lake Trails in Chugiak on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. Handlers for Jim Lanier were doing short runs with his Iditarod team, and Kathy Faryniarz and Beverly Stevens were preparing their combined sprint team for the racing season.
