Two AK Krush fastpitch softball players last month qualified for the regional Northwest Elite Softball team.
Goldenview Middle School's Madison Williams, a right-handed pitcher for the U12 team, and Service's Haily Greening, a catcher for the U14 team, earned the opportunity to represent the region in the USA Elite Select Futures All American Games in August in Orlando, Florida.
Teams from eight regions will play in the Orlando.
