Dirt-track drivers head to Kenai for two days of racing

Alaska's biggest dirt-track racing competition is slated for this weekend at Twin City Raceway in Kenai.

Drivers from Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kodiak, the Kenai Peninsula and the Valley are expected to compete in the two-day Alaska Dirt Track Shootout.

Saturday's action starts with qualifying at 4 p.m., followed by racing at 6 p.m. On Sunday, qualifying is at 11:30 a.m. with racing at 1 p.m.

The raceway is located at 7075 ShotGun Road, off the Kenai Spur Road near Beaver Loop.
