Ruthy Hebard of Fairbanks and Team USA kept rolling Wednesday at the FIBA U19 World Cup of women's basketball in Italy.
Hebard, 19, scored a game-high 21 points and added nine rebounds in a 104-46 victory over Puerto Rico in the round of 16, and the Americans (4-0) advanced to a Friday quarterfinal against France (3-1).
Hebard, who will be a sophomore at Oregon in the fall, also furnished two assists, two steals and one blocked shot, and committed one turnover in 17 minutes of playing time. The Americans led 31-10 after one quarter in Cividale del Friuli and never looked back.
Hebard connected on 7 of 10 field goals, including her lone 3-pointer, and sank 6 of 7 free throws.
