Jerry Cosgrave won three of Saturday's five dryland sled-dog races at Beach Lake.
Cosgrave bested the field in the one-dog bikejor (5 minutes, 32 seconds), two-dog bikejor (5:08) and canicross races (14:08) in the second set of races in the Dryland Race Series by the Chugiak Dog Mushers Association.
Pam Schamber won the two-dog scooter and Kim Wells won the four-dog rig. All races were 1.81 miles.
The CDMA will have one more preliminary race day Saturday before the Alaska Dog Works Dryland Derby championship event Oct. 7-8.
