Anchorage bowler Sean Rash’s latest Professional Bowlers Association tournament championship was made in China.

Rash, a Dimond High grad who lives in Illinois, won the China Tiger Cup title Tuesday in Suzhou, China, the first PBA event ever held in China.

Rash picked up his 14th tour title by beating AJ Johnson in the best-of-3-games title match. Rash ended it in two games, winning 211-194 and 227-207 to collect the $20,000 first-place prize.

Rash and Johnson were part of a seven-player PBA delegation that competed against nine PBA players from China and Hong Kong, according to the PBA.

The tournament was the last of the 2019 season.
