Senior Sean Alexander paced UAA skiers Sunday with his fourth-place finish in the men's giant slalom at a Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association qualifier, and sophomore Charley Field led the Seawolves women with her seventh-place finish in giant slalom.
On the nordic side at the University of Colorado Invitational in Steamboat Springs, senior Mackenzie Kanady led UAA with her 13th-place finish in the women's 15-kilometer classical race. Freshman Toomas Kollo led UAA's men with his 17th in the 20-K classical event.
UAA finished sixth of eight teams at the University of Colorado Invitational, and next competes Feb. 20-21 at the New Mexico Invitational.
