APU's Sadie Bjornsen finishes 14th overall in Tour de Ski

Sadie Bjornsen of the Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center finished 20th Sunday in the final stage of the Tour de Ski and finished 14th overall in the grueling eight-stage World Cup event.

Bjornsen, 26, finished second among Americans in the nine-kilometer free pursuit hill climb in Val De Femme, Italy. She finished second among Americans overall, behind only Jessie Diggins, who seized 10th overall.

APU's Rosie Brennan, 27, finished 31st in Sunday's stage and 32nd overall in the Tour de Ski.

Bjornsen, an Olympian, stands 13th overall in the World Cup standings, one spot behind Diggins, another Olympian.

Erik Bjornsen of APU finished 41st in Sunday's final stage of the Tour de Ski and also finished 41st overall.
