Girls prep hoops: Tuesday's results

South 63, Service 36

Morgan Lash led a quartet of double-figurer scorers for South in a 63-36 CIC win over Service.

Lash supplied 16 points, Nani Garner chipped in 14 and Isabelle Lada and Kelsey Sweetsir added 10 apiece for the Wolverines.

Leading the way for Service were Katie Pierce with 12 and Courtney LaPoint with 10.

West 46, Bartlett 29

Three players scored in double figures Tuesday to power West's 46-29 Cook Inlet Conference girls basketball victory over Bartlett.

Theyoung Puoy led the visiting Eagles with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Nyedol Thor pitched in 11 points and Martha Thor added 10.

For Bartlett, Brandee Howley and Julia Tosi each provided six points.

Dimond 73, Eagle River 5

Whitney Shapp and Maya Carle led a balance scoring attack for Dimond in a 73-5 CIC win over visiting Eagle River.

Shapp scored 14 points and Carle added 13.

Lumen 52, Eagle River JVs 11

Freshman Nyadeng Puoy poured in 18 points to spark Lumen Christi's 52-11 win over the Eagle River JVs in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday.

Jojo Estes added 13 points for the Archangels. Eagle River was led by Kyra Duckett's nine points.
