Boys basketball: Results from Thursday's games in Anchorage

South 60, East 55

The South Wolverines surprised East 60-55 Thursday night in a Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game at East High.

Wyatt Babiak poured in 17 points to fuel the Wolverines. Alex Adams added 13.

Service 62, Eagle River 28

Nathan Fromm pumped in 15 of his game-high 22 points in the first half Thursday, sparking Service's 62-28 win over the Eagle River boys in a Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game at Service High.

Fromm hit three triples to lead the Cougars to a 37-13 halftime lead. Ten others reached the scoring column for Service, a group led by Fadel Harvin with 12.

Savion Wilson's 10 points topped Eagle River.

Dimond boys 67, Bartlett 42

Dimond held Bartlett scoreless in the first quarter and limited the Golden Bears to two field goals the entire first half Thursday night in a 67-42 Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball victory at Dimond.

The Lynx led 16-0 after one quarter and extended the lead to 38-9 at the half.

Josh Fosi drained five of eight shots from long range to finish with a game-high 17 points to lead Dimond. Anthony Parker chipped in 11 points and Jesse Boese added 10.

Latravious Kingsland's 11 points paced Bartlett.

ACS boys 73, Kodiak 61

Onochie Fredrick's 14 points led a balanced attack that carried Anchorage Christian to a 73-61 boys basketball win over Kodiak on Thursday.

Nine players scored for the Lions, with five getting eight or more points. Trey Huckabay and Mareng Gatkuoth joined Fredrick in double figures with 12 apiece.
