Patin won the boy singles match 4-6, 6-3, 11-9 for his team's lone victory.

Close competition in boys doubles spiced up a Cook Inlet Conference tennis meet between West and Dimond on Wednesday.
West's Seneca Scott and Chas Anderson took a 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 win over Dimond's Noah Alexander and Kyle Stone in one match, and Dimond's Jack Sedor and Mampei Fujimoto posted a 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 victory over West's Antionio Won and David Wood in the other.
West won both girls doubles matches en route to a 5-4 team victory.
