The West Eagles survived a close second set Wednesday en route to a sweep of Service in a Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match at West.
Rosie Rush provided the Eagles with eight kills, eight digs and four aces in the 25-16, 27-25, 25-14 triumph. Kaitlin Hampton contributed seven kills and eight digs and Kelsey Ross dished out 24 assists.
Service was led by Karisa Davis with seven kills, four digs and two aces. Brooklynn Jones added 18 digs and Julia Fetko turned in 18 assists and seven digs for the Cougars.
Dimond 3, Chugiak 0
Brynn Sulte's 15 kills and Alissa Pili's 11 kills and eight digs powered Dimond's three-set volleyball victory over Chugiak on Wednesday.
The Lynx also got 26 assists and 10 digs from Teuila Lolotai and 20 digs from Maya Carle in the 25-21, 25-21, 25-16 CIC win at Dimond.
Leading the way for Chugiak were Emily Moorehead (8 kills), Claire Schimmack (4 kills) and Rebekah Henckel (2 aces, 7 digs).
