West wins regular season CIC riflery title

West 5, South 2

West clinched the Cook Inlet Conference regular season championship in riflery with a 5-2 victory over South on Friday.

Eight shooters scored 280 or better in the meet for the Eagles, led by Samuel Morgan with 287.

Maya Boyle carded a meet-high 293 to lead South, which won the A team competition by three points.

South's Kimberly Jettenberg and West's Morgan and Luis Montilla-Batista shot perfect 100 scores from the prone position.
