Dimond cruised past Kenai Central 77-36 on Friday behind Alissa Pili's 28 points and 22 rebounds.
Jahnna Hadjukovich pitched in 19 points and Maya Carle added 12 in the nonconference game in Kenai. The teams play again Saturday.
Barrow 71, Eagle River 44
Rose Mongoyak poured in 23 points to carry the Barrow Whalers to a 71-44 nonconference victory over the Eagle River girls basketball team Friday in Eagle River.
Monghoyak scored eight points in the first quarter to help her team race to a 20-4 lead. Milya Wright scored five of her 11 points in the same quarter.
Chyna Finley's 19 points sparked Eagle River.
Grace 39, Palmer 38
Grace Salima and Sarah Laker helped Grace Christian grab a 39-38 win over Palmer in a nonconference girls basketball game Friday at Grace Christian.
Salima supplied 16 points and eight rebounds and Laker furnished 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies.
Salima hit three triples to help Grace outscore the Moose 12-0 from 3-point range.
Emma Uschmann dropped in 12 points for Palmer.
