South's Caden Maloney sank two late free throws to seal a 53-51 victory over Chugiak in a Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game on Saturday at South.
Tristan Diaz furnished 18 points for the Wolverines, Parker Johnson added 12 and Maloney finished with four.
Chugiak was led by Hunter Harr (14 points) and Tyler Trevino (13).
East 86, West 68
Trey Huckabay (21 points) and Carson Washburn (20 points) powered East to a 86-68 win over West in CIC action Saturday at East.
Dondre McMorris paced West with 13 points.
