Leona Tau'ese served four aces and made 27 digs Tuesday to lead East to a three-set win over Chugiak in a Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match at East.
Daisy Page added 14 kills and 15 digs and Nyanuer Bidit supplied three aces, 12 kills and nine digs for the Thunderbirds.
Chugiak was led by Malia Mortensen (18 digs), Claire Schimmack (10 digs) and Sophia Lestina (7 kills, 7 digs).
Bartlett 3, West 0
Leanna Atafua racked up 30 assists and five aces to help Bartlett beat West in three sets Tuesday at West.
The Golden Bears won the CIC volleyball match 25-23, 25-15, 25-22.
Liu Pa'ia Togaga'e added 11 kills and Alelujah Faamasino garnered 10 digs for Bartlett.
West was led by Lauren Lindemuth (7 kills, 3 blocks) and Jackie Suka (7 kills, 8 digs).
South 3, Eagle River 0
The South Wolverines swept the Eagle River volleyball team 25-19, 25-12, 25-23 in a CIC match Tuesday in Eagle River
Erin Doner led the Wolverines with five aces, six kills and 12 digs. Zoey Keene added 16 assists and eight kills and Emilye Grace Williams tallied 12 kills for South.
The match marked the varsity coaching debut of Eagle River's Taylor DiBiasio.
The Wolves got 10 kills from Landry McGee, seven kills from Geena Graffe and 19 assists from Liz Rhuele.
