ACS, Grace Christian split dual cross-country running meet

Anchorage Christian's Blake Bennett and Tessa O'Hara smoked the field Tuesday in a cross-country dual meet between ACS and Grace Christian at Cheney Lake.

Bennett won the boys 5K race by more than a minute in 15 minutes, 19.30 seconds.

O'Hara was the only girl to finish in under 20 minutes in 19:59.30.

Bennett led ACS to a win in the boys race, where four Lions finished in the top six.

Grace Christian took the girls title with four racers finishing in the top five, led by second-place Mazzy Jackson in 20:28.90.
