West upset defending 4A state champion Dimond to win the West High Spiketacular volleyball tournament Saturday in front of a home crowd.
The Eagles beat the Lynx 25-18, 14-24, 15-13 in the best-of-3-sets championship match.
Brooke Dexter boosted West with 10 kills, Jackie Suka supplied nine kills and Kelsey Ross recorded 21 assists.
West won the 20-team tournament after going 6-2 in two days of pool play and dispatching Colony and Chugiak in straight sets in bracket play.
Dimond beat Bartlett in two sets in the semifinals.
