Nathaniel Hansen of West beat Quentin Jackson of Chugiak by two pins to the win the Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League's Shootout Tournament this week at Eagle River Bowl.
Hansen rolled a 627 series to edge Jackson, who totaled 625. Rune Lind was third with a 570 to lead Eagle River to the boys team title over second-place West and third-place Dimond.
East's Iris McKeon and Eagle River's Allison Szewczyk tied for first place among the girls. Both posted scores of 582. Gillian Wurts of West was third with a 555.
Eagle River took the girls team title, followed by Dimond and West.
