Addington powers Lynx to big swim/dive victory

Dimond's Maximus Addington won four events to lead the Lynx to a team sweep of the Bartlett-Chugiak Invitational swimming and diving meet Saturday at the Bartlett pool.

Addington won the boys 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly and also swam legs on Dimond's winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays.

The Dimond boys and girls easily won team titles at the 18-school meet, with the boys outscoring second-place Service by 56 team points and the girls putting 57 points between themselves and second-place South and West Valley.

The meet included 418 swimmers and divers from around the state.
