The high school bowling season ended Thursday with a big game by West High’s Ivan Tillman and a sweep of the season titles by Eagle River.

Tillman rolled a 243 to lead all bowlers by a wide margin. South’s Sam Deakin had the next-best score, a 223.

Eagle River topped the Anchorage Scholastic Bowling League final standings in both the boys and girls competition. The boys prevailed despite a one-point loss to Dimond in the season-ending competition Thursday at Jewel Lake Bowl.
