Three players for the Cook Inlet Conference champion Dimond Lynx and two for the runner-up South Wolverines have been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s all-region team.
Outside hitter Larssen Anderson, setter Kadyn Osborne and libero Arianna Vreeland represent Dimond on the District 10 all-region team, which includes players from Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana and Washington.
Libero Kylie Hurd and setter Emma McMillan represent South.
There are 10 geographic districts nationwide. Those selected to regional teams become candidates for the Under Armour All-American team, which will be announced later this week.
On Saturday, Anderson slammed 30 kills to lead Dimond past South in a five-set, season-ending CIC championship match.
