Two days after its meet against Dimond ended prematurely because of rain, the Eagle River tennis team took the court Saturday with blue skies overhead and termination dust on the mountains in the background.
The Wolves beat Chugiak 6-3 in a Cook Inlet Conference in a dual meet at East High.
On Thursday, Dimond beat Eagle River 7-1 in a meet that ended early because of rain — the final match ended in a draw after being called off in the first set. In the day’s other meet, Service beat the rain and Bartlett, 8-1.
