Austen Eriksson swept the boys' slalom races on the second day of the Spring Series at Alyeska Resort as U16 and U19 competitors wrapped up their season.

Eriksson, a U19 racer, won the first race in 1 minute, 42.83 seconds and the second in 1:37.07. He finished nearly four seconds ahead of the next best competitor in each race.

After a win in Thursday's giant slalom, fellow U19 racer Cabell Hildreth snagged a second place finish in the first slalom race Friday.

Noah Rygh, a U14 athlete, made an impressive showing finishing third place overall in the first race. In the second race, Jacob Goldstein of Juneau Ski Club took a second place behind Eriksson.

In the first girls race, Piper Sage secured a lead in the first run that allowed her to hold off Mary Grace Stahla in the second run to win in 1:46.90.

In the second race, Anja Schweiger, Kennedy Kane, and Randi Von Wichman were neck-in-neck after the first run, but Von Wichman pulled away in the second run landing a first-place finish ahead of Kane in 1:40.45.
