Porter Langlie and Alexandra Vonwalter-Gentner pulled off sweeps of the super-G races Thursday at the Alyeska Cup race series.

The victories by Vonwalter-Gentner were a triumph for the U12 age group. She beat all of the U14 skiers to take home both of the girls’ overall victories, clocking a time of 53.19 seconds in the first race and a time of 54.73 in the second.

U14 skier Ava Austerman was tops in her age group and second overall in both races with times of 53.96 in the first race and 55.32 in the second. Third place in both races also went to U14 skiers — Brook Lentfer (55.87) in the first race and Madison Allard (56.50) in the second.

In the boys races, Langlie won the first super-G by nearly six-tenths of a second in 53.78 and won the second one by more than three seconds in 51.88.

U14 skiers grabbed the top three places in both races.

In the first one, Jaxon Murphy (54.37) was second and Gabriel Sullivan was third (55.14), with the top U12 skier, Kyler Autry, tying for eighth place overall in 58.42.

In the second race, Sullivan (55.03) was second and Charlie Folds (55.94) was third. The top U12 skier was fifth-place Tad Guse (57.60).
