Finnigan Donley and Randi Von Wichman were the fastest skiers on the mountain for two days in a row earlier this week at Alyeska Resort, taking victories in all four of their races Sunday and Monday at the Alyeska Cup alpine series.

Each captured age-group state championships in both the slalom and giant slalom. Donley, a U16 skier, won his races by ridiculously large margins and was always faster than the U19 skiers. Von Wichman, a U19 skier, also posted dominant victories.

Other state titles went to Abigail Kragt (U16 giant slalom), Alyssa Gries (U16 slalom), Colin Horrigan (U19 men’s giant slalom) and Max Johnsen (U19 slalom).

The races marked the end of the week-long Alyeska Cup.
