UAA men, UAF women set the pace at Blue/Gold cross-country meet in Fairbanks

Kendall Kramer led a 1-2-3 finish for the UAF women’s team and Cole Nash led a 1-2 finish for the UAA men’s team Saturday at the annual Blue/Gold cross country meet on the UAF running trails.

Kramer, a high school standout at West Valley, made her college debut by beating teammate Rosie Fordham by seven seconds to win the women’s 5K race in 18:34.

Nash, a freshman from Colorado, finished the men’s 7K race in 22:53 for a 13-second victory over teammate Jacob Moos.
