Alaska Rock Gym Summer Climbing Camp for Kids

H2O: Headwaters to Ocean Day Camp

H2O Day Camp is a great time to be active and have fun in the outdoors while learning about the amazing landscape that surrounds Cordova. Each day is filled with hands-on science activities, games and adventures. During the week at camp we will hike in the rainforest, observe glaciers up close, canoe through the wetlands of the Copper River Delta and explore Orca Inlet. By the end of the week you will be able to see for yourself that from headwaters to ocean it's all connected. Camp activities will take place all over Cordova and the Copper River Delta. Thursday night will be an optional overnight.

Camp Fire's Camp K on Kenai Lake

This 10-day outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship camp explores the changing environment and how this connects to a most basic and delicious part of our lives - food! Activities include backcountry and yurt camping, hiking along forests, beaches, alpine and at the foot of a glacier, berry picking and preserving, learning about salmon fishing, tidepooling, understanding ethnobotany and local edible plant uses, and having fun in the kitchen making a range of homemade foods.
