Why are you running?

I'm running because we can do better, The state deserves better. We are a Citizens Legislator and the citizens have been hands off for too long.

What was the last book you read?

Chilton Nissan Pick-ups Automotive Repair Manual

The biggest problem facing the state of Alaska is _______

The citizens have not been represented or respected. Issues facing our citizens, such as health care, education and drug addiction have been put second to the wants of industries lobbyists for too long.

Describe three ways you think the state should try to grow and diversify Alaska's economy.

Alaska should encourage the cannabis industry, Alaska's gambling laws should mirror those of Las Vegas bringing in casino's and power ball would boost Alaska's tourist industry . It would providing year round employment with livable wages for Alaskan's, Add a minimum 20% tax to all Alaska's extract-able resources based off of what is being taken from the ground and we will be fine.

Unemployment in rural and off-the-road Alaska is a major issue. What are your ideas for growing a sustainable economy in areas of Alaska that are inaccessible by road?

Encourage the fishing and mariculture industry, farming with advanced technologies such as the Growtainer, as well as testing and development of off grid energy systems. In areas that can grow Hemp we should be encouraging it with emphasis on creating new hemp renewable energies and hemp products.

What's one idea you have for improving Alaska's schools?

More Funding, adding gardens and growtainers or something similar to provide healthy organic meals.

The current University of Alaska budget is:

Too low

The state's minimum public-school size of 10 students to receive state funding is:

Too low

Describe your vision of a long-term fiscal plan for Alaska.

Well balanced

Do you think that the state should make reductions next year from this year's $3.86 billion agency budget?

Yes

The Legislature's line-item operating budget for each agency program run by the state is here: http://www.legfin.akleg.gov/BudgetReports/LY2016/Operating/Enacted/Stwd-AllocationSummaryUGF.pdf. If you think the state budget should be reduced, tell us which three line items you'd reduce most, and by how much. (Use specific line items from the budget)

*Cut the Oil and Gas Tax Credit Fund by 100%. Oil and gas taxes need to be rewritten the state should receive 20% of the market value of the actual amount of extract-able resource removed from the ground, that means put a meter on the pipe line, tax credits should not exceed 2% of the amount of taxes paid in.
* Department of Transportation and Public Facilities I would cut this by at least 50%
*Legislative Operating Budget cut by 90%
*Executive Operations Budget cut by 90%

What sources of revenue, if any, do you support using to balance the state budget for the next fiscal year?

I support, creating new revenue, casinos, power ball, cannabis and hemp. Getting our fair share of our resources, a 20% tax on our extract-able resources. Tax credits should not exceed 2%. Tax credits should be based only on Alaska profit and loss not world wide profit and loss.

What will you do differently from our current Legislature that will get a workable budget passed?

I will continue to push for a budget that does not punish the people, or require the people to pay an income tax or dividend to pay oil companies to drill.

Would you vote to use Permanent Fund earnings to balance the state budget?

No

If yes, what is the proper proportion between using fund earnings for state revenue vs. using fund earnings for dividends?

N/A

Taxation on oil and gas production in Alaska is:

Generally lower than it should be

What is your position on oil tax credits?

Cut the oil and tax credits to 2% of what the taxes the oil companies actually pay to the State

Taxation on other Alaska natural resource industries, like mining and commercial fishing, is:

Generally lower than it should be

Taxation on individual citizens in Alaska is:

About right

What should state government do to reduce high rates of sexual assault and domestic violence in Alaska?

Require all Law enforcement departments to process all rape kits. Contact the creator of the Rape-aXe condom and assist her in mass producing them for Alaska. Domestic violence will not stop until the victim stops it. Teaching girls and boys in middle school the signs to watch for is a big step, placing shame on a domestic abuser is also needed.

The number of Alaska State Troopers and Village Public Safety Officers is:

Less than necessary

If you answered less than necessary or about right to the above question, how would you pay for additions or for keeping the status quo?

raise the cruise ship head tax

What is your position on abortion?

I am Pro Choice

Do you anticipate advocating any legislation, policies or budget proposals that would change the status quo regarding abortion in Alaska? If so, what?

I would like to see plan B at every bar, with every first response unit and in every cab. IUD's should be offered free of Charge to every female teenager, this is a medical procedure. For those living in rural Alaska and areas where abortions are not offered airfare should be paid for by their insurance.

Do you believe that humans have played a role in climate change or global warming?

Yes

If yes, what's humanity's role in causing it? If not, why is Alaska warming?

Global warming is a natural cycle, that has been accelerated by humans

What measures should the state take to respond to climate change?

Pray for Snow and Ice. I don't believe their is a lot we can realistically do to stop the cycle we are on, short of causing volcanoes to go off. That said every bit of pollution we put out their ends up back in our bodies and affects our health.

Are there specific wildlife and fisheries management concerns that you intend to focus on as a legislator?

I intend to protect the integrity of fish and game, they know what they are doing.
Politics should not interfere with the science

Who are you voting for in the presidential election? In one sentence, why?

Bag of leaves, Bag of leaves is Compost, and compost is good for the soil it does what it is supposed to.

What are you going to do about health care costs in Alaska?

I will push to expand the scope of Nurse practitioners to allow them to practice independently.

How do you get your health insurance and what's your monthly premium?

Free I have State insurence

Should the state provide additional resources to help Alaskans with substance-abuse problems? If yes, what specifically?

Its time to take action. As luck would have it, we just got a 12 million dollar office building that is not needed, it would make a great detox- and in-patient rehab center. It can be renovated with public donations, as well as asking the construction academy, and HVAC training centers if they would volunteer their time. We can offer to hang a sponsored by sign for any company that donates time and materials. I think we also have a ferry sitting unused that could also be used.

Would you vote for legislation repealing, in whole or in part, the citizens initiative that legalized marijuana sales and consumption in 2014?

No

Does the Legislature's current organization of majority/minority caucuses work? Is there another way the Legislature could organize itself?

It works

Should the law allow a lobbyist to buy you dinner if you are elected?

No
